Posted by Aaron Klein on 11 October 2013 02:22 PM

Bridgewater College has arranged with the following local area computer repair shops special pricing for Bridgewater students.  The IT Center is not able to service all makes and models of student computers and there may be a time that we refer a student to one of the following repair shops for service.

Dawg House Computershttp://www.dawghousecomputers.com/

(540) 437-3737 - Harrisonburg

(540) 743-7772 - Luray

  • Located in Harrisonburg and Luray
  • Weekly campus pickup from the IT Center (must prearrange with Dawg House computers and make them aware the system will be in the IT Center for pickup)

List of Services *10% student discount on all prices shown below*

  • Virus Removal - $99
  • Operating system reload - $125
  • Data Transfer - $75
  • All hardware repairs - Parts + $60/hour
  • Bench fee - $35 (initial diagnostics and diagnosis, if repair work is done this fee goes toward the bill)

Example:  You have a non-working keyboard and take the computer to Dawg House Computers.  They will charge $35 to assess the issue.  They will then contact you and inform you of the issue with the computer and provide you an estimate for the repair that includes the cost of a keyboard as well as the labor to replace it.  Should you choose not to have the repair done your total bill is $35.  Should you elect to do the repair then your repair bill will be the cost of the keyboard + the amount of labor to do the repair.  You do not pay the $35 bench fee if Dawg House does the repair work.
